About Me
Since as far back as I can remember I have always been fascinated by jewellery, and always have jewellery boxes full of bits and pieces. Whenever I went on holiday I always manage to pick up some (well quiet a bit) of locally produced jewellery. This lead to family and friends bringing back jewellery souvenires from their holiday visits.
When the opportunity arose for me to learn the art of jewellery making I jumped at it. At Ellie B Jewels I aim to create fine quality handmade jewellery. My handmade range of jewellery includes, necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings etc.
I use a variety of materials including Swarovski crystals and pearls, semi-precious gemstones, glass beads, sterling silver findings and silver & gold plated findings to construct my pieces.
I also have a passion for Chain Maille jewellery. I am currently using the Byzantine and European 4-in-1 weave for bracelets. I've made bracelets from sterling silver, pure copper and aluminium rings. In the near future I will be developing a line using more intricate weaves.
